Muktitham – 1992 (Accommodation for those who perform ancestral rites without expectation of reward) With changing times, joint family households are giving way to growing apartment complexes, nuclear families, and modern lifestyles. Yet many still observe and honor traditional rites and rituals, holding numerous ceremonies in marriage halls and similar venues. However, when a loved one dies, arranging these rites can become difficult. To address that need, this place was established for performing ancestral rites such as shraddha ceremonies, monthly and yearly rites, offerings to ancestors, and pilgrimage shraddha rituals.

Jnanapurnima - 2018 (A platform that brings spiritual currents and social values into balance... this Jnanapurnima forum) The spiritual lecture series Jnanapurnima was started in Chippalapalem village by Brahmashri Vedamurthulu Shri Pemmaraju Gopalakrishna. It began through his relentless, tireless efforts that went beyond his strength. Through this forum he brought many eminent personalities to the people — including Brahmashri Chaganti Koteshwara Rao and Brahmashri Samavedam Shanmukh Sharma — conducting an excellent program that taught highly valuable spiritual topics. When, for unavoidable reasons, the program could not be held in Chippalapalem village, our Akondi Simhachalam Service Trust, trusting in its branch Shivam, Satyam, Sundaram (The SSS World Society) and confident in its ability, was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying forward Jnanapurnima. Upholding that trust, we continue to run the Jnanapurnima program without interruption.

Annaprasaad Distribution - 2022 In our India, renowned as the land of Annapurna, Konaseema—draped in lush green paddy fields and blessed with natural beauty—has seen many elders and benefactors, at considerable expense and effort, serve the hungry in various ways. Temples and charitable organizations continue such services. Yet there are still times when people wonder who will provide even a single meal. In 2012 the trust founder, the venerable Guruji Sri Akondi Gopalakrishna Murthy, undertook as our responsibility—beyond caste and religion—to start a program that would provide a substantial meal to the needy at least once a week. The annaprasaad distribution was interrupted by various circumstances, but it was restarted in Vaishakha month of 2022. With the support of donors, it is now running smoothly.

Temples and service organizations are continuing such services. However, there are also situations where people are waiting to see who will provide food even if they are hungry. Annaprasada distribution, which was started in 2012 by the founder of the trust, Pujya Gurudevulu Sri Akondi Gopalakrishnamurthy, as a program to provide good food to the hungry at least once a week, regardless of caste and religion, was stopped due to various reasons and was restarted in the month of Vaisakha in 2022.
