February 14, 2019 was a dark day for India. An Islamist militant suicide attack struck a convoy of Indian military vehicles on the Jammu–Srinagar national highway. Forty CRPF soldiers were martyred in that attack. To express solidarity with the families of those soldiers who were ready to sacrifice their lives away from their loved ones so the rest of us could live in peace and happiness, and to pay a solemn tribute to the fallen heroes, at 3:15 p.m. on the anniversary of the February 14 attack, people across India were urged to unite and sing the national anthem. In response to a call from IStand for the Nation in Hyderabad, a campaign was carried out in engineering and degree colleges in East Godavari district to raise awareness of the soldiers’ sacrifices. About 16,000 students took part in this program.
